Arms day. Bicep curls, hammer curls, tricep pushdowns, overhead extensions. The basics done right. No need to reinvent the wheel when the wheel has been building big arms for decades.
I shoot these workout videos on my phone and edit them with Descript. If you are thinking about starting a fitness channel or any kind of video content, Descript makes it ridiculously easy. You edit the video by editing the text transcript — delete a word, the video cuts. It is the closest thing to magic I have found in content creation.
The Arm Routine
- Barbell Curls: 4 sets x 8-10 reps — strict form, no swinging
- Hammer Curls: 3 sets x 10-12 reps — targets the brachialis
- Tricep Pushdowns: 4 sets x 10-12 reps — rope attachment, squeeze at bottom
- Overhead Tricep Extension: 3 sets x 10-12 reps — long head stretch
- Concentration Curls: 2 sets x 12 reps — finisher for the peak
Total time: about 40 minutes. Nothing fancy. Consistency over complexity, every single time.
